Delhi: pti: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has advised Indian citizens not to travel to Myanmar’s Rakhine state due to escalating tensions.
The MEA also recommended that Indians currently in Rakhine should leave the area as soon as possible.
The advisory cited worsening security conditions, disruptions in telecommunications, and a shortage of essential supplies as reasons for the caution.
The MEA emphasized the importance of avoiding travel to Rakhine and urged immediate departure for those already there due to the challenging situation.
