India reported an increase of 339 new COVID-19 cases, pushing the active caseload to 1,492, as per the latest update from the Union Health Ministry on Saturday. The total death toll reached 533,311 (5.33 lakh), according to the 8 am data. India’s overall COVID-19 tally now stands at 450,044,81 (4.50 crore).
Recoveries from the disease have reached 444,69,678 (4.44 crore), contributing to a national recovery rate of 98.81%, as indicated on the health ministry’s website. The case fatality rate remains at 1.19%.
