Chandrakant Handore has been given the ticket by the Congress to contest the Rajya Sabha election in Maharashtra.
This election is for six seats in the state. While the BJP will send three candidates, other parties like the Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress will each send one candidate due to their sufficient number of legislators.
Handore has been given another chance by the Congress for the Rajya Sabha seat. Many were interested in contesting from Congress, but Handore has been chosen.
Handore was also given the opportunity in 2022, but he was unsuccessful then.
