Washington : Lawyers are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to decide that Donald Trump should not be allowed to run for president again.
They say this is because he led the violent event at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, trying to change the result of the 2020 election.
They want the Supreme Court to support a unique decision made in Colorado to remove Trump from the 2024 Republican primary ballot in that state. The lawyers emphasize that even a former president must follow the law.(sources /AP).
