GENEVA: Saudi Arabia revealed designs Monday for a high-tech stadium atop a 200-meter high cliff near Riyadh where the kingdom plans to stage games at the 2034 World Cup. (PTI)

Saudi Arabia showed a new design for a high-tech stadium built on top of a big cliff near Riyadh for the 2034 World Cup. The stadium will have 45,000 seats and be named after Prince Mohammed bin Salman. It will have a roof and field that can open and close, and a big LED wall for a great experience for people watching. This is part of Saudi Arabia’s plan to become more important in world sports.

The design has a retractable roof and field, plus an LED wall with hundreds of meters (yards) of screens to create an immersive experience for fans, the Qiddiya Investment Company said in a statement.
