Both OBC leaders, Chhagan Bhujbal and Union Minister Narayan Rane, have raised objections against the government’s decision.

In response, the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Devendra Fadnavis, stated, “Those who are registered have received caste certificates from the government. But while having the registration, they did not get caste certificates legally. Therefore, the government has done the work of reaching out to them by making the process easier.”
