The G20 Education Ministers’ Meeting in Pune concluded with the G20 Outcome document and Chair’s Summary, outlining key educational priorities and sharing successful policies and programs. The event also included bilateral meetings with multiple countries and international organizations. Additionally, the ‘Jan Bhagidari’ initiative engaged over 5.25 crore citizens across India in various programs, making G20 a widespread public movement.

During the India-US 2+2 Dialogue in 2022, the India-US Working Group on Education and Skill Development was launched virtually on May 22, 2023. This group formed four sub-committees focusing on skilling and vocational education, certification and recognition, matchmaking between U.S. and Indian higher educational institutions, and engaging with the private sector, aiming to boost educational collaboration between India and the USA.
