Amidst speculations about alliances, Raja Bhaiya stated, “I have given 20 years to the Samajwadi Party.”
The suspense around new alliances in Uttar Pradesh has intensified ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. It is being said that there could be an alliance between Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party and Raja Bhaiya’s party.
In the midst of these speculations, a significant statement has emerged from Raja Bhaiya.
Raja Bhaiya said, “I have given 20 years to the Samajwadi Party out of 28 years. For me, the Samajwadi Party comes first. It is not just a political party for me.”
Prior to this, Pradesh Adhyaksh of the Samajwadi Party, Naresh Uttam Patel, had visited Raja Bhaiya at his residence. During this time, there were discussions about contesting the Lok Sabha elections together.
It is reported that during this meeting, Naresh Uttam Patel had a phone conversation with Akhilesh Yadav. However, there has been no response to this development yet.
It is worth mentioning that Raja Bhaiya’s Janhit Party has only two MLAs in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, one of whom is Raja Bhaiya himself.
Earlier on Monday, the Samajwadi Party had offered 17 Lok Sabha seats to the Congress in Uttar Pradesh. This was the final offer from the SP in terms of the number of seats. Congress is interested in seats like Muradabad and Ballia, discussions about which are ongoing.
