This Cidco declared 100 crore development plan for 18 villages

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, previously known as Sidco, has been distant from basic amenities for over 32 years despite being part of the Greater Waluj Metropolitan area. Ambadas Danve, an opposition leader, highlighted 18 neglected areas in Sidco and urged for development.

However, administrative delays led to frustration. After Danve’s intervention, Sidco announced tenders worth millions for various development projects. These include upgrading roads and completing pending infrastructure works.

Sidco also unveiled plans to revamp existing roads. Meanwhile, Ambadas Danve received the tender documents for scrutiny. Sidco had announced residential plans 32 years ago, but basic services like electricity, water, roads, drainage, etc., were lacking. Due to neglect, many changes occurred in Sidco’s administrative structure, causing delays in development projects.

There are discussions about the significant shortfall in the Greater Waluj Metropolitan project’s allocation for Sidco.
